The price on this TV keeps fluctuating up and down, been on lightning deals and has been posted several times on here recently. I guess Amazon are trying to shift some stock.
Ignore all the scam prices.

Stunning TV for the money but the 4k police will be on it like a shot.

55" 4k TV is utterly pointless, you're regular person won't notice the difference. 4k TV needs to be at least 65" and even then i'm not convinced it's enough.
1080p is more than enough at 55" unless you want to sit right in front of your tv, furthermore. Whilst we're on the subject, still severely lacking 4k content, 95% of most peoples TV viewing isn't even 1080p, let alone 4k.
This TV will destroy the likes of the Samsung UE55KS7000U which has been here for a similiar price, and is 4k
camera roll? i;m not getting into a willy waggling contest mate, and not even sure what that has to do with this? you're clueless based on your comments, if someone has 850 sheets to spend you would recommend they wasted it on an inferior 4k tv???
Ok, if you have 3k to spend, then yeah ok get a 4k OLED
Everyone told they need 4k, it's just not true, 1080p will be more than enough for most people for at least 5 more years.

You;re just not getting it are you
Spending £850 on a budget 4k TV is also a complete waste of money, if going 4k for it's superior image quality and viewing pleasure, what sense does it make to purchase a budget £850 4k TV??
I already said, if money is no object then you would purchase an OLED 4k TV, however this is a thread for a £850 TV, and you need to bear that in mind.

They aren't future proof either. The HDR spec is changing yet again this year when HDMI 2.1 releases and brings "Dynamic HDR" which is said to look better than standard HDR. The manufacturers have once again released unfinished tech to the masses.

having recently watching a non oled 4k TV at a similar price to this, to me there was no comparison. once you get used to oled there is no going back

We don't even have BBC HD on 101 sky yet, we are at least 2 years away from 4K TV channel - and upscalling HD to 4K is poo due to the compression

Indeed never knew there were so many people who;
a) prefer dark grey rather than black.
b) like poor backlights
c) are desparate to pay for TV streaming services etc services
d) believe all marketing marterial they read
great price but would want a 5 yr warranty to push the button on this...

YOU BEEN WATCHING 1080P?! DOWN ON THE GROUND NOW!
I have a 1080p TV because until 4K actually get support why bother?! Tech gets a lot cheaper every year. Went into Currys, Richer Sounds, etc and they're showing off a demo with different post processing from SDR to Dolby Vison on an OLED TV worth more than £2k. Back in the real world there are no more than a few decent TV shows and movies to watch in 4k from any UK content provider.
HDR is currently a non-starter unless you like to play video games in the dark.

I've had this Tv for 1 year now and I'm still wowed by it. Makes friends £1000 lg led LCD Tv look like sh1t

I bought one of these during the summer. None of LG's led LCD TVs made my shortlist as I felt the picture quality of their non-OLED TVs was exceptionally poor, compared to the likes of Samsung etc.

I can see people being caught out by the scam prices , If you are going to purchase DO NOT pay outside of Amazon as you can kiss goodbye to your hard earned money. If your in doubt contact Amazon first. Don't stray away from Amazons website !!
Trust me, I was nearly done !!
Amazon need to clamp down on this.

I was really lucky some 6 years ago when I was able to get the Post office to refund 99% of the money I had sent via Western Union for a Sony TV from what turned out to be a spam site,as I recall Amazon were useless,I was just lucky.

I bought this TV from Amazon a couple of weeks ago when it was around £850. It is a fantastic TV at this price. The picture is outstanding when watching an HD signal. The only minor niggle is when you get the brightness dimming, this is only really noticeable when you have a full white background which mainly occurs when you watch TV adverts. I would give it a 9 out of 10. Hope this helps someone.
