Getting started
Use the sliders to select the minimum monthly minutes and data you require.
You can narrow down your search further using the filters to select phones of a specific manufacturer or model for example.
You can also use the Phone value drop down to only compare phones of a similar class such as high end.
Deals are sorted using our reccomendations by default. Everyone is different so for more personalised deals results the filters and sort by Tariff estimate for the cheapest deals for your needs.

To transfer your number to your new contract simply contact your current provider to request a PAC code which will last for 30 days and is free, though ask about additional charges if you're still under contract. You can sometimes enter the PAC code at checkout, otherwise contact your new provider with the code and they will arrange the transfer.

Basic options
Manufacturer Selecting a manufacturer lists available models. You can also select sim, tablet, dongle or speciality phone (such as rugged or novelty) deals.
Mins and data By dragging these sliders you can select a minimum required allowance.
Free gifts You can choose to include deals with a specific free gift or none at all.
Upfront cost Select the maximum you are prepared to pay upfront towards your phone.
Network(s) You can choose any number of networks to include by clicking select.
Phone value This enables you to compare phones of a similar value, for example mid range.
Cashback offers Retailers offer cashback incentives. You can include any cashback incentives, automatic only or none. Click on the Cashback guide header above to learn more.

Allowance guide
Looking through old bills to see what you usually use is the best way, but here's a rough guide.
Mins Think how much you usually use your phone. Thinking in terms of hours may help, e.g. 300 mins is 5 hours.
Texts Most contracts now come with unlimited texts as standard, but do check your deal is sufficient before ordering.
Data Many people over estimate how much data they need. It only starts to add up when you regularly download apps or stream content so try to avoid these activities when not using Wifi.
For occasional web browsing 500MB+ should be adequate.
If you only stream or download occasionally 1GB+ should suffice.
For regular streaming and downloads consider 2GB+.
Advanced options
Value This is similar to the phone value dropdown but allows you to set your own min and max phone value range.
Texts and line rental You can set a minimum number of texts and a maximum amount of line rental you're willing to pay each month.
Months Most contracts are 24 months, using the dropdown you can show only details for a chosen duration.
Retailer(s) You can choose any number of preferred retailers by clicking select.
Refurbished Select whether to include refurbished deals with results.
4G only Select whether to include only deals where the phone and contract are 4g capable. This may be inaccurate.

Retailer cashback can be automatic or by redemption.
Retailer cashback
Redemption cashback offers require that you submit a number of bills to the retailer over the course of your contract. For late claims, a breach of terms or in the event of insolvency the retailer will not pay.
Automatic cashback offers pay the cashback automatically, but you're depending on the retailer to send you the payment without issue or insolvency.
Cashback must be claimed in instalments from the retailer throughout the contract.
Late claims, breached terms or insolvency can result in failed redemption so use the Cashback offers filter or click to or if they're not for you.

While unlikely, if the retailer becomes insolvent or 'forgetful' you may not receive this.
