Nougat has been designed to run perfectly on 1gb as kitkat was.
Lollipop and Marshmallow just became stupidly bloated.

Got one for Christmas, it's great. Loaded it with apps, no lag whatsoever. So much cobblers talked about RAM.

I wish this was true, ALL UK stock is 1gb. Only the international version is 2gb - which would make for a much better experience.

We get the NFC equipped model for android pay. I have it, it's just as fast if not faster than my old phone running kitkat. That phone had a snapdragon 410, 1gb ram, NFC etc and stock android as well.

Definitely only 1GB ram I bought one yesterday and as I dont play games on a phone it is fine for me. Annoying that
the ARGOS website states 2GB so I telephoned them and pointed out the error and had them do a search for Motorola XT 1604 which is the ref for this phone and I have just been given a 20% discount, they are sending a check out.
So I am quite happy with this for £80.
