This has been £169.95 for ages, excellent reviews and never seen it this cheap!
Just ordered one myself and thought a great deal to post my first ever deal.

When I scroll through the deals on here often I just look at the pictures. Sometimes, when I can't work work out what it is from the thumbnail, I enlarge it and when that fails I give in and read the title. On this occasion I read the title, description and then had to follow the link to the website. Done a bit of learning on this Sunday evening!

I have submitted the price to Amazon, hopefully they will match it in a couple of days.

I know, I was certain it was a vibrator... imagine my disappointment

How so? You choose the temperature and time. Rare or well done and anything inbetween. You either don't understand or are doing very wrong

Good deal, but it's just another gadget to clutter up cupboards!

It's a lot smaller than my current sous vide machine.

Brilliant if you want your food to taste uncooked.

If you've ever ordered steak, fish or chicken breast in a decent restaurant they probably used a sous vide machine.

I paid £110 6 months ago. Fantastic purchase! Top Restaurant standard meat, fish or veg every time. You're always going to get the haters saying it's boil in the bag. They obviously have no idea of the concept and as you say, top chefs/restaurants use them regularly.

TL;DR - Sous vide == Boil in the bag (for hipsters).

I paid 125 each with their kickstarter programme. The immersion versions are much better than the tank types as they can take up a lot space. Mine work great so I can highly recommend.

If you eat a steak in a nice restaurant there is a good chance it's cooked in a Sous vide (you can often tell as the steak will look less cooked but will taste as you ordered)....
Hot from me.
Oh and was on the gadget show this week!

I know their reviews are to be taken with a pinch of salt, but what was the opinion?

And by "decent" you mean employing shefs who can't can cook a steak without this gizmo and a plastic bag.
