anything is removable with the right mindset
i can't imagine this would be too much hassle though - they wouldn't seal the drive inside the unit.

Hot if it doesn't contain a Seagate HDD. Had nothing but trouble with them myself and very often when customer machines die there's a dead seagate at fault.

considering the price for a 4TB WD Red NAS drive is £142 quid on ebuyer, this would be worth buying just to pull the drive out and use in something else. heated for that at least.

Is this definitely removable?

Yeah but we don't know what HDD model is in here right? The WD Red is specifically for NAS drives that's why it's so expensive.

Will it fit in a PS4?
There, somebody was going to say it. I will save them the embarrassment.
You're welcome

Unlikely it will work in any consoles. But very good price for the capacity, but its very large and people report the drive failing just outside of warranty. So I will not vote on this one.

That comment is actually quite worrying/disturbing?!, hmmmmmmmmmmmm. :-(
Are you very sure? (genuine question, as I'm none the wiser either way?). :-)

it'll be a model that's at least 3 years old as that's how long this 4TB model has been on the market (longer).

I'm holding on till Black Friday to see what 'large' drive deals it throws up. It's usually good for that :stuck_out_tongue:
