Now that PES 2017 has been released and the reviews for it are outstanding, this is the cheapest I can find it online. I've ordered it today. Yes it could be had cheaper on pre-order, but my time machine is currently in for servicing.
Option file sharing on PS4 allows for all the real kits, team names and league badges to be added easily.
No way.... It's totally the other way around, pes 2017 feels like football and is far more realistic (only FIFA lets John terry outrun Ronaldo)

With you on this one, PES definitely isn't arcade like, particularly this year it feels like a realistic game of football.

I’ve read this a lot but personally I never had a single connection issue on PES 2016. Rarely had lag during games (maybe slight lag every one in ten), never disconnected from the server and whenever maintenance took place I was notified in advance and it was scheduled for the early hours of the morning.
I have had some lag on MyClub last night, more like a framerate issue occurring randomly during games probably due to the strain on the servers. This is a widely reported problem and will definitely be patched.
That being said I do have Virgin fibre optic broadband with low ping. Might be worse for people with ADSL lines.
In contrast to FIFA I find that it can regularly kick you from a game due to losing connection to server, errors always happen in UT when TOTY cards are released i.e. cards become stuck in your trade pile for days on end and you don’t get the player/coins from a sale and unannounced maintenance is always scheduled for evening GMT time which really annoys me.
Just get whichever you like, my personal opinion is that PES 16 was much superior to FIFA 16 but I’ve had every FIFA since FIFA 10 so I like both games.

My bad, thought it was released today, must be a few people with their hands on it already. I'm breaking away from about 6 years with FIFA as I only really play career mode and it's become very stale. The PES demo was great.

Could be my bad, as may be released today. Last year i dropped FIFA for PES but this year think will get the best of both worlds. The Option Files make PES look so much better too!

I've just been looking through the PES WORLD option file. It looks like a very classy job.

I used to love PES on the PS1/2 until switching to FIFA for PS3. Having played this years PES demo I think I'm about to switch back!

anyone know what the servers are like ? that's my only problem with the last game, was probably just gonna wait til Christmas with it so they sort out any bugs like the horrible keeper bug last time

Been playing it recently and don't see the problem. I think a lot of people are quick to blame servers instead of investigating their own line and ISP proper. There's a bit more to your line than just the download speed which affects quality.

used to be a Fifa fan til it just got more and more robotic feeling, very unorganic. PES feels so much more realistically fluid.
Just a shame that the Xbox doesnt support option files/modified kits and names :disappointed: Dare say its down to EA having a say about a competitor to Fifa, and flexing its muscle with XBox with their EA Access deal.
