As good as new. No scratches, scuffs or chips. And they come with a 12 month warranty.
Perfect for anyone after a cheap "new" iPhone, not exactly the latest model but I am sure it will suit some people.
Cheaper than CEX sell their "used" models for!

Don't spread your virus here. Android is a disease of an OS.

I doubt if any other 5 year old / second hand 'phone was posted here it would get hot. Apple glasses.

Stupid comment really.
It doesn't really matter if it's only £10. 8GB and outdated tech means it's pretty much unusable.
You can pick up a droid for a few quid extra.

O2 live chat...
Me: The iPhone 4S graded phones, are they locked to o2?
O2: When you buy the phone from any service provider, it's pre locked to that network.
And you need to unlock it first to use any other networks SIM in it.
Me: And can you do that free of charge?
O2: Unlocking is free if the phone has bought under the contract on O2 Pay Monthly. http://www.o2.co.uk/help/phones-sims-and-devices/unlocking-your-iphone-and-using-it-on-another-network

Big question is which iOS version will it be running? iOS 9.3 will kill it, performance-wise, OK with iOS 7 though.
Upd: States iOS 5 in Technical Specs.
It does have a very nice camera still, which isn't that much better on today's iPhones. 8GB is the equivalent on an enlarged Prostrate though, you'll be constantly offloading any Pics, (yes I said Pics  ).
Good way of getting iMessages.

Mine is running 9.3.1 and it is perfectly OK for my needs. I don't do games, so can't comment on performance there. Everything else is fine.

8gb sucks on these phones - you don't actually get that, you get 5gb. I have little in the way of apps, no games, and have to delete apps if i want to download a new one. This is my work phone so stuck with it. I replaced my 8gb android because of similar issues, it's not big enough memory for modern phones.

I can't think who I would ever feel comfortable recommends a 4s at this point. Given that you can pickup a 5s on eBay for around £30 more with double the speed/storage, lightening etc.
