Just get the same type of bottle and the contents will be the same, it's not rocket science...although it may be if anything goes wrong! :-)

Requires a 21mm clip-on regulator, seen here (not supplied with cylinder) £8.99, normally supplied with BBQ though.

I have a gas bbq that I purchased from B&Q last year.
I haven't had to change the gas yet... does it matter what gas I use? (i.e. Propane, Butane or PatioGas).
I have binned the packaging so can't remember what we have at the moment.

You need to check which regulator you have currently.
Propane takes a different regulator than Butane.
These cylinders require a standard 21mm clip-on regulator, usually blue in colour and is used by all suppliers Calor Gas etc

You have 2 options.
1: Your BBQ hose will have a regulator on that will only fit one type of bottle and 9 times out of 10 it will be a patio gas regulator that only fits the more expensive bottles so buy an expensive patio gas bottle refill.
2: Change the regulator with a 21mm butane one and buy these much cheaper refills.
BTW patio gas is just propane in a green bottle and a quick fit regulator where as a normal a propane bottle uses a left handed threaded screw in regulator that requires a spanner to fit.
Butane or Propane will work perfectly well in your bbq but Propane will also work in freezing temperatures.

I have always had to swap an empty bottle for a new bottle and then to pay for the gas within.
Is this definitely an all in price?

Yes, full cylinder, no empty required, no deposit required, fully delivered price.

I have looked on the website and you can get 18kg of propane for the same price

They previously wanted a propane empty returned, may have changed there policy of course though..
Will involve changing the regulator if changing from butane to propane.

Hello Shalton
I think that is specifically for Fork Lift Trucks looking at the description, unless you have a Fork Lift Truck BBQ then you should be ok. :stuck_out_tongue:
"This very popular 18Kg propane gas cylinder is specifically made for use with a fork lift truck. At ONLY £23.98 each, it represents a fantastic saving off the standard retail price."

Just to clarify.
£23.99 is their normal selling price, although it has been as low as £21.99 http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/flogas-butane-gas-13kg-cylinder-21-99-including-delivery-no-deposit-gasdeal-2375503
You order as many as you require, without any deposit. When re-ordering, in the comments box, just put down how many empty cylinders (if any) they can collect.
I have found this gas much cheaper than "Calor" cylinders, the only downside being sometimes I have waited 5+ days for delivery.
