Perhaps it's because our boiler is on the blink but we had a sudden 3am epiphany to buy a new duvet cover, we only wanted a kingsize but can't say no to a superking at that price. No more fighting for the cover.

If I'm buying a duvet, the first thing I ask myself is "hmmm, does this thing contain ethical feathers?"
I want to know if the ducks have been reared on the finest Cristal champagne and wild truffles infused with unicorn breath, I want my duvet to have waddled through puddles.... not muddy ones, but puddles filled with the tears of angels, above all, I would like a signed statement from the Dali Lama giving his blessing to me that I may sleep safe in the knowledge that my duvet has had an interesting and fulfilling life.
If I can't have that I would gladly freeze to death, rather than get a bargain from Argos :smirk:
I'll vote this hot anyway, just to keep the peace.

These aren't ducks with jobs and holidays and pictures of the kids in their wallets. These are ducks bread for purpose. Plucked for feathers and eaten for food.
Id rather keep a man in a job to provide fir his family than a duck happy. There are no ethics in survival.

I would only buy ethical duck pillows where the feathers are naturally shed and not plucked from the bird. You can get ethical pillows from John Lewis.
