If I can't have that I would gladly freeze to death, rather than get a bargain from Argos :smirk:

Remember this duvet is duck feather and probably machine cut feathers so they will prod you all night. Best get a dearer one with a duck down mix and small cut feathers. You spend a third of your life in bed cheap will not be best

Bought one of these when they were on sale a few weeks back. They are VERY heavy, rustle a lot and have sharp bits which poke you through the cover. They are also too hot for all but the very coldest nights.

Does it bother you that to get the feathers, they are plucked from the bird while it is still alive? And the wounds of the birds are stitched without anaesthetic? I am not on about birds being bred for meat and the feathers being a by product of that. If you are a meat eater then buying an ethical one would make more sense. You kill the duck collect the feathers and eat the duck.

If you buy the non ethical one where the feathers are pulled from the live bird and when its feather output falls below its food cost it is killed and put in cat food.

So as a vegan/vegetarian you would buy the non ethical one! :smiley:

Yes I am a vegetarian but that doesn't make me self-righteous. Everyone is different, just as non-vegetarians are.
