Black Friday offer 1000 mins + Unlimited Texts + 3GB data at £5.50pm x 12 = £66 which is pretty damn cheap.
Also possible £45 Quidco which is potentially looking at £21 for a 12 month SIMO contract

Nice deal on paper so heat added.
Unfortunately, you have to be an exisiting TT customer and I certainly won't make that mistake again :disappointed:

Don't go for Talktalk Mobile - they can't cap the data usage and would cost 20p per 1Mb extra - worst of all when one goes over the credit limit - they will stop all calls, sms and data usage on all mobile plans in your account - unless you pay the extra charges using a credit card and even then you have to make sure to keep data off on your mobile phone - they don't have the facility. I am waiting for my contract to end and would leave asap.
Also they were recently hacked and lost good number of account/personal details.

Seriously why doesn't it say "EXISTING CUSTOMERS ONLY" in the damn deal :P

I have been with Talk Talk for several years. The customer service is appalling and the call centers are incredibly frustrating and misleading (rarely do what they promise or you ask them to) every time I have cause to call them I swear that I will not renew my contract. However they are by far the cheapest when you take into account the broadband and mobile offers they churn out. I have 5 sim only contracts and the only one I was able to get any cashback on was the first one. Since then, when applying online via topcashback or quidco I get blocked with a message asking me to call to complete my order (therefore making the cashback ineligible) you can try to explain this until your blue in the face to the call centres but with no possibility of an ounce of recognition from them. Keep an eye on your data limit too as they do not tell you when you are close to it or over it (despite them insisting that they do!) and you just get a nasty shock in the form of a large bill. Mobile coverage is reasonable but not fantastic. Cheap yes, but go into it with your eyes wide open and be prepared to spend a lot of time speaking to a foreign call centre if you have any sort of issue, with little hope of resolution on the first time of asking!

Agreed. OP why did you leave that rather important bit of info from the header and deal info? Rather an important aspect dont you think?

Was 3G Vodaphone when I left, but I did read that there is a deal with O2 in the offing.

I wonder if you would be paid Quidco as it is for Talktalk Mobile, where this looks like it goes through Talktalk broadband and tv. Anybody had the cash back paid if they were a customer of Talktalk and bought the sim only deal?

Not quite sure exactly what you mean, but I was already a TT landline/broadband customer and added the £12/month Unlimited SIM-only deal through Quidco and received £60 cashback after a couple of months.

Hi jamie0114
Did they allow you to port your old number with TalkTalk to the new deal ??
What about the porting process is it straight forward or painful process.

My wife is a talk mobile customer already, anyone know if she'd qualify? We're not on talk talk at home though.

Talk mobile and talktalk mobile are different networks. Also T-mobile just to make it more confusing.
