It's this any different to the standard barclaycard? I've got one and wonder if I could get hold of one of these too or would I have to cancel the old one?

As far a I know you can only hold 1 Barclaycard at any time :smiley:

I have 2 cards on the same account.
If you cancel your current card & you have no other Barclaycard, then they will close your account & you will not be allowed to apply for 6 months - this is standard practice with credit card companies to limit churning their balance transfer deals or reward deals, etc.
The initial is aimed at people who have no credit history or limited history.
Hence the high APR of 34.9% - their platinum card is 18.9%

I've about 3 cards with Barclaycard branding on them. One standard and 2 reward cards. Don't know if this helps.

I applied for this card last year through quidco, got confirmation but no cash back was given :disappointed:

Yeah I have 2 Barclays cards atm. They can open multiple accounts as well if you ask them, to manage your money.

mine is only showing £25.25 even though it said £30.30 (see here
i went through TCB - "Barclaycard Initial with 3m Purchases Cashback" but the barclaycard page didn't mention anything about £10 cash back every 3 months?? i think you have to go through the link on this hotukdeals page to get that! mmm

Barclays are not at all reliable for Quidco cashback, they just reject cashback without any explanation. Quidco would also say they cannot peruse this any further.
