Just to let you know that my 2nd £10 credit didn't arrive so I called them and they said you are no longer able to get cashback from Barclays ! So I said i will send proof of the offer and they not interested !! To make things worse the the tcb was declined and unable to put a claim in.

On the flip side don't worry too much they cancelled my application as I have not had my other Barclaycard more than six months so I didn't even get it either, I wanted to vote my own post cold now lol :smiley:

Hi I read it as you need to use the card every month and pay off every month to qualify for the £10 at month 3,6,9 & 12. You could just use it for £10 every month and pay it off when the bill comes in? hope that helps you :wink:

There seems to be two different cards. You're talking about 'Initial with purchase offer', which gives 0% on purchases for three months. The card in the OP is 'Initial with cashback', with £40 cashback over the year.

I can't see anywhere for this card on their website that says anything about £10 back every three months over the year .
In that case, I missed it when I setup dd mandate. Oh well, just have to wait for card though post then.

i saw the full 16 digits when i set up a direct debit. if i log into my account now i don't see anywhere the 16 digit account number is shown. even if i click on "direct debit payments" link.

yes full 16 digit number beginning with 4929. not sure but the 1st 4 or so digits are the same for all Barclaycards?

Barclays are not at all reliable for Quidco cashback, they just reject cashback without any explanation. Quidco would also say they cannot peruse this any further.

There are no card details when you log in the first time but you can setup a dd mandate before you get your card via pay your bill > make a payment by debit card > your direct debit.

If you cancel your current card & you have no other Barclaycard, then they will close your account & you will not be allowed to apply for 6 months - this is standard practice with credit card companies to limit churning their balance transfer deals or reward deals, etc.
The initial is aimed at people who have no credit history or limited history.
Hence the high APR of 34.9% - their platinum card is 18.9%

Yeah I have 2 Barclays cards atm. They can open multiple accounts as well if you ask them, to manage your money.
