Lol I guess you could if you wanted to... unfortunately for me I upgraded in Sept 2016, so well past my cooling off period.

True :stuck_out_tongue: I did write a long list of screw up's by Vodafone but hit delete rather than Edit... Argh!
I wanted 4 phones on a retentions deal SIM Only Plan.....
Live Chat lied and promised a 62% discount for a retentions deal (impossible - Vodafone don't do 62% discounts :p). I agreed at the time to the deal & he -upgraded- just 1 phone plan rather than a retentions deal (Over double the price!!) and did nothing on the other 3 phones at all. Cairo CS said live chat had done it right and "Wait for my next bill". UK Complaints fixed 3 phones plan and put the 4th phone on a more expensive tarriff due to an accidental mis-click. UK Complaints put the 4th phone on the correct data plan but didn't change from the more expensive price. They just lowered the data to the correct amount. UK Complaints then finally activated Spotify on the 4th phone number by 'resetting' it. UK Complaints then promised it was on the correct price plan when I phoned to say it was not, they claimed I was just not seeing the updated price yet. Today UK Complaints confirmed it was always on the wrong price plan, they can't change it. So they'll give me equivalent account credit.
Each of those lines happened several days apart - each requiring an extensive phone call. So many lies and misinformation.

Last point is not correct.

For example, if you’re in Spain and send a text to your friend’s UK mobile number Calls and texts to standard landlines and mobiles in the country within which you’re roaming. For example, if you’re in Greece and call a local restaurant to book a table If you’re in one of our Roam-free destinations, calls and texts to other Roam-free destinations are also included. For example, if you’re in Spain and phone a hotel in France this would be included Any data used from your UK data allowance and Extras. Based on the below quote from the Vodafone website you should be able to switch to one of the new plans but keep the same end date of your current contract.
I’m mid-way through my Vodafone contract - can I get Global Roaming?
No problem. To take advantage of Global Roaming, call 191, free from your Vodafone mobile, to join one of our new Pay monthly plans. Don’t worry, the end date of your current contract won’t change.

Hmm not sure. It's cheaper for Vodafone (and any company) to outsource customer services so I wouldn't be surprised if there even is a UK customer services team now. If there is, it is a lot smaller then outsourced so very hard to reach. There's even a customer service robot on live chat called Tobi.

No T&Cs or small print is evident on the page saying I'm not eligible.
I'm currently on a £19.20 plan with 12Gb UK data - new plans are £19 for 16Gb global data so effectively 20p less for 4Gb more...
Might try the live chat next week and see. Hope it doesn't mess with my Quidco cashback
