As it says on the tin, if your up to your free Dropbox limit and looking for a half decent alternative I've been using this for a while now and it's pretty good.
I'm still trying to find a better deal for a bit more space, but 50gb should cover a good chunk of most people's family photo and video catalogues. Pretty good industry reviews all around, as long as you don't lose your key ;) top tip. Keep the key safe!
^^^^^^^^Just something to be aware of. I love Mega and use it to back up a lot of my files, be wary though. I lost alot of precious stuff when Firedrive (another cloud storage provider) just disappeared of the face of the earth without a word. Don't rely one just one place of storage

Yes, I've seen that article, and in my opinion it very much depends on which side of the thin line you sit. I think the final paragraph quoted response from the chairman is probably as factually incorrect as the majority of the article, but at the end of the day, if you treat the commodity for what it is, you should be okay. Just go into it with your eyes open and don't store the Crown Jewels there, etc etc..

Used it for a while, not had any issues that were no my own fault.
I keep copies of thousands of practise photos and other non-essentials there, still learning to use my camera properly..! and .. 100% agreed too the point above. Diversify your storage. Has been pretty good for me though, so can't moan.

yup, lots of storage places are shutting down or going after commercial market without much notice. Bitcasa (once posted here) is the latest and have until 20th May to download your stuff.

Thanks for the reminder though.
P.S. Have backed up my key as a text file.
