Heated, very good price for these, they don't usually go cheaper than £50 even on offer!

Had these. Connection kept dropping out. Put my old plugs back in and sent them back. Beware

Can I put another router on the other end? so devices can get wi-fi on the other end. I have a deadspot in the house. If I could, can I get a cheap one?

See no reason why not, though a wifi extender or powerline adaptor with wifi on the receiving end would be a more elegant ann in one style solution, though perhaps won't have the same raw performance potential of this...

Can these be combined with older Netgear 500mbs passthrough plugs?

Good question - this just about answers your question, but not quite: Adding a powerline adapter to an existing powerline network - not sure why they'd mention the 1200Mbps ones, but not say whether they can be paired with the 500Mbps ones or not. Although, these should do just fine paired with each other.

It's always a hit and miss with these powerline adapters. Even though some use the same protocols/language or whatever you call it, they don't 'see' each other and there for cannot connect. Had that with some I bought a few months ago.

Getting delivered today. Can both the 500mbs be used as receiving units? If both sets can't run together as one, I'm hoping I can run both sets independently on the same wiring?

Should be possible yes, as they don't 'see' each other, they're also not in each others way. No idea if that influences maximum throughput though, not an expert.

For people living in older houses be aware that these are only as good as your wiring. If you've got dodgy wires anywhere you'll get abysmal speeds, I was getting sub 300kbps at times. Worth a punt though, especially if you've got limited options!

No point paying extra for pass-through adapters - ordinary ones seem to work OK in trailing sockets in my experience.

I have had these for a while now and wouldnt reccomend them.
They are fast but plauged with overheating and constant disconnection issues. Nothing to do with my modern houses wiring.
Buy a TP link kit instead.

I have these and also been experiencing drop outs .
Nuke which TPlink would you advise? I’m currently running the plugs with a router on the end with my vpn.

I'm really wary of the faster speed ones now. My 200Mbps ones from TP-Link have been solid for years. Switched to a set of Zyxel AV1200 which dropped connection all the time despite much faster speeds. Went for a cheaper set of D-Link AV1000 from mymemory (approx £20) and they've been as solid as the TP-Links. It's hit and miss I fear. A good return policy is required so I'd have thought Amazon is a safe bet.

Close to being cheapest ever according to Camelcamelcamel.
