I have been looking for 32” IPS WQHD 2560 x 1440 resolution for a while and yesterday I found the new Viewsonic VX3211-2K-MHD £235 delivered. It is £327 on Amazon. Seems like a good deal to me.
Can also buy it from Insight for similar price, but form morecomputers it is cheaper delivered. Personally I had good experience with them.
You can also use a voucher code for half-price next day delivery HALFND
I however, ordered mine yesterday at 15:50 with free delivery and I had it delivered today by parcelforce at 12. Lucky I guess.
There are few reviews on Amazon, the only professional review I found is in German, which gives the monitor excellent marks. Here is the translated version:
I am personally happy with what I got, no dead pixels, good colors, good brightness, uniformity and angles. Only issue is that there is no stand height adjustment, but the high is about right for me.
Just saw that the stock is getting low.... You can also get it from insight for slightly more... uk.insight.com/en-…001

Can't see it on the site at all, but do you happen to know its refresh rate? no point in buying a 1440 unless its 144 hz imo.

Because everyone uses PC for gaming obviously...

And everyone who is using a PC for gaming has a GTX 1080 Ti XTX XXX XTREME so they can play BF1 at 144Hz at 1440p with highest settings. No compromises!

Luckily it's only my opinion, so no I'm not a moron, but you are for attacking me for passing my opinion. Good game sir.

If your opinion isn't logically sound you could be considered a moron. Just because it's your opinion doesn't make you saying dumb stuff any less dumb. Also, you could've just said I know you are but what am I rather than trying to sound like you're above all this or whatever you were going for.

Why not? High FPS is good and all. But not needed for a lot of things.

wow thats IPS for £235 and of course its 60Hz, I am not sure how much one can overclock though. Unless you play FPS I dont see why you would need 144Hz for photo editing, movies, programming, office use where you need large screen without scaling up.

OP... Thank you! I've been looking for a budget quad ips preferably bigger than 27" - man you hit the nail.
Ordered and got the half price delivery. Thank you.

Tempted to get this, I prefer this aspect ratio to the ultrawides.
I wonder how good 1440p is at this size though.

it is pretty comfortable at 100% scaling, this replaced a 24" 1920x1200 and feels about the same. At work I have a curved 34" 3440x1440 which is ok, but is comparable and costs 3x more. I also have a 27" 4k which is worse as you have to upscale.

The 8ms response time worries me, have you tried any games?

The specs say 3 ms (grey-to-grey). Dunno, usually the problem is input lag (which I cannot measure) rather than response time. I am not a gamer, just tried a bit of Mass Effect and the testufo.com/ and seemed ok. There are some gaming settings and modes overdrive etc which I dont have time to play with

I can't really see this being useful. When I'm dealing with my Documents I can't find a use for monitors less than 800MHz @ 4k resolution. I'm sorry, its cold from me.

How can you word process with such a low refresh rate? I find that below 1.44 x 10^27 GHz it just feels so stuttery. >.<

To be fair, I'm visually challenged (you could call me one of the lucky ones). With post-800MHz 4K displays I don't notice a difference at all no matter how fast I type the strings of text, its clear. Anything otherwise it just doesn't refresh fast enough. When I'm staring at my still desktop background, it just looks like a freaking slideshow.
