PayPal payments are usually taken straight away I think, cc payment can be taken later.

They say payment on dispatch but this is not true. Your funds are held like a pre-authorisation so you see it sitting in limbo and unusable in your account until dispatch

Pre-authorisations normally drop off your account within 7 days so funds should be available within a week.
