PayPal payments are usually taken straight away I think, cc payment can be taken later.

They say payment on dispatch but this is not true. Your funds are held like a pre-authorisation so you see it sitting in limbo and unusable in your account until dispatch

Pre-authorisations normally drop off your account within 7 days so funds should be available within a week.

You don't get charged right away when paying by PayPal? You get notified you will be charged once the merchant processes payment but I am assuming that is just before dispatch?

Payment has been taken from my debit card. It does state on the website that payment will be taken on dispatch.

First of all thanks to the OP I've placed my order.

i paid via debit card and the money has been authorised already so it looks like Toys R Us have taken payment. Weather or not those fund will be released back in a few days or not ill have to wait and see but as it stands there is £36.99 that my bank has allocated and been deducted,

Still showing as not available for click and collect or home delivery. However if you add one of the 2 game bundles to your basket and then delete the 2nd game out it appears to work! Code works as well.
