Thanks but after code if it works it's £50 upfront which just should be on the op. Just so it's not misleading.

same here, got my 64GB S6 2 years ago for £25 pm on EE, so fits In nicely with end of my contract.
Just pondering is the S8 such a great improvement on the S6 ????

The S7 was a better improvement but in all honesty over the years nothing is really ground-breaking in the mobile world. Things look sleeker and price tags have massively inflated.
The S8 is not a massive improvement over the S7 but on the S6 you should be pleasantly surprised! Either way, lets see what the next couple of months bring us.

Larger display 5.8" vs 5.1" due to thinner bezel and only 5.5mm longer and 1.2mm thicker, bigger battery 3000mah vs 2550mah, MicroSD card slot vs no MicroSD card slot, HiFi grade 32bit/384kHz DAC vs 24bit/192kHz DAC, 4GB ram vs 3GB ram, IP68 certified waterproof, QuickCharge, Bluetooth 5.0, improvements for the cameras, faster and more power-efficient Snapdragon 835 processor.
S6 also supports quick charge  but to answer the question, yes 100% worth to upgrade for that price

our S8's actually have the Exynos 8895 not the Snapdragon 835 but yes your summary is pretty comprehensive
is the DAC actually improved?

It's improved but the S6 and S7 already have good DACs. Samsung's issue compared to other smartphones have always been the headphone amp, which is still lower than iPhone, HTC and LG offerings.

Yea forgot that for us European versions we don't get the 835...
For the DAC the improvement is probably not gonna be a huge difference for music in general, except for people that are actually listening to 32-bit/384kHz audio tracks/playbacks. But an improvement is an improvement none-the-less.

Price should be changed as it's cheaper with the code. £698! Not a bad deal for an S8 and Vr

Not bad. I just upgraded with Vodafone and got 16gb data for £38 a month but I'm not sure it was a great idea, might cancel...
