That's the one I ordered yesterday but the upfront cost was £285 at the time. it also included Dex yesterday but the £29pm one doesn't include it now.

Can anyone tell me how reliable it is to order off these sites? The deal/tariff isn't on the o2 website itself, I am wondering how it actually works? I can see this being a really good deal and I am very tempted myself, but if I have issues do I go through o2 or back to mobiles.co.uk for example?

Got my iPhone 7 from mobiles.co.uk last December and they were very quick with everything. Got the phone delivered to me next day and no problems whatsoever. Will definitely use again once this contract is over. Depends on the nature of the issue, but for most issues, you'll have to go through the network provider.

Have had 3 contracts by these guys, all brilliant, had some issues with stock on one (7+) but that was from supplier nothing they could do and 4 days later it arrived I normally find mobiles via uSwitch there are loads though I've used s few other third-party sites then EE/02 directly. They did the usual keep same number every time too ect.

You are right. It's like buying a fine set of crystal glasses and using them to drink White Ace.

Wow Brexit has made phones expensive now; there is no way I'd ever pay that much just for a phone.. my gaming PC cost less than that, and it maxes out everything at 1440p

I just don't get it, mobile games are crap so you don't need it to be powerful, I'm never going to watch a TV series or a Movie on my phone when I have a lovely TV... so why do I need a big screen with such a high resolution. There is only so much you can do on a phone that's better than having another device.... it's a camera and tbh nothing tops the Nokia 808 still because they're all focused on having a big screen so they have to be thin. Then what.. you may listen to some music, browse the net for 5 mins and go on Youtube during your lunch.
I don't get how it's worth almost a grand, it doesn't do anything more than a phone from 2/3 years ago.

You clearly know nothing about cameras; 'Nokia 808' - Ha Ha! If you don't want one then why comment - to me it just sounds like you can't afford one and are just angry because you really want it but can't.

Thanks for the replies guys! Might just go with this, very tempting given the pre order bonus + the fact it's not much more than if I brought the phone outright, it'd be like buying it on credit interest free lol. The data/mins are just a side perk but it's better than my current contract (500mb haha)

So the phone itself is £869, so you're technically getting a free sim only contract for 24 months. Is that right?

I'm pretty sure you get the dex with this too and with any galaxy note 8 that is pre ordered before the 14th September as you just register the phone with samsung once received with proof of purchase and claim. It states this on the bottom of the phone page on mobiles.co.uk
