Hypnos make great quality mattresses.
I'm always a bit wary about a mattress that not only can't be flipped, it's not even designed for turning. It'll be comfy but I'm not sure it'd last the ~10 years you'd hope for from a quality mattress so that's a hidden cost to factor in.

Fair point - We purchased a similar one from Sealy that can't be flipped. That said, we've had it for over 8yrs and it's the pretty much the same as when we first bought it, no sign of giving in just yet

I have an IKEA mattress that can't be flipped and that has 25 year warranty

I view it that they don't need to be turned or flipped because they are better quality, and just don't need to be.
I can't speak for long term as I don't have one, but I have slept on these mattresses and would certainly look at buying one if I needed one.
Mattresses are a personal thing, but I find these extremely comfortable.

As in I don't have a Hypnos so can't vouch for them long term.
My current mattress is only 5 years old, and was my first expensive mattress. I sleep well, so I think it is worth it.
It was much dearer than a Hypnos.
When I buy again, the first one I look at will be Hypnos.

Are you sure? My Premier Inn branded mattress (via staff sales) has a label on as a reminder for 3 month turning (head to toe). As you say, it cannot be flipped but it can be turned.

These good for young kids, my 9 year old needs a new mattress?

Probably, but assuming it's a single the price is pretty steep at £360. I bought a mattress for a 10 year old from Strictly Beds and Bunks and it was fine. You'll find better value elsewhere.

Is this a firm or medium mattress ? Any ideas ?

I had a hard time finding a mattress that felt comfortable for me but I would highly recommend John Ryan. Just tell them your weight and how soft or firm you want it and they will recommend a suitable one from their range. Very happy with ours. All the ones I tried before were too firm.
