Yes I know it's Very and I know it doesn't come with a 5-6 warranty but a B7 under £1700!?
It's worth giving people a heads up!
Cheapest deal currently with warranty is almost £200 more than this.

its bizarre and you click update and it still stays at that. Its only when you go to pay for it at the final step you get a final total of £4K something. I see Very as hiked their price. So everyone is going down Very are up to over 1900 now !

You need to add service guarantee to be apes v apples Vs Curry....4 year service guarantee is same as Currys warranty. Therefore Currys is cheaper unless you're not bothered about protecting your investment for 5 years. I certainly am, I've gone for Currys deal.

Do you think the currys site cannot add up or am I getting 2 OLED TV's for this. Found a student 10% discount code for Currys which brings the 55" to £1691 but its instore and I am not sure at my age if I could pass of being a student !

16 Sep 17#57
ah so you did Jim Bob although its now 1779 not 1789 which you said :relaxed: only joking but if it keeps reducing £10 every few hours it will be down to 1600-1700 soon!! I keep plugging in the voucher code into Very then chicken out again. Just hope I don't drink too much tonight or I may own a TV by the morning.

PRCdirect and currys down another £100 price4.co.uk/lg-…spx £1779 and COOP just behind them on £1819 now. So £1529 with Very 1 year warranty or Currys/ PRCDirect with 5 years for £250 more hummmm getting closer by the day.

Yeah mentioned the Currys price earlier in the thread. Never committed to the Very deal due to no extended Warranty. Thinking at this rate price will be closer to £1600-1700 with 5 year warranty in a month or so

I bought the LG - OLED55C6V Smart 3D 4K Ultra HD HDR 55" with a 5 year guarantee from currys a few weeks ago for £1409 with a code and it is 3d as well. There are no signs of banding or tint problems but as soon as I got the tv I set it up using the values from AV forums. The QVC tv is a Samsung and is not OLED , Very are a terrible company to deal with, their customer service is appalling
I had it in the Vary basket at the 1529 then had my lunch came back clicked refresh, instead it purchased it and said thank you for your order at 1699. I immediately tried to cancel and it said due to the fast processing speed we are not able to cancel it, although it said delivery will be some time in October. Phoned them and after about 10 minutes got it cancelled so not bad customer service from that point of view.
Now I have it back in the basket with the 10% off code but left it there for 1 hour and it reverted back to 1699 so just watch if you do order it.
Anyone used Vary before and had good or bad problems as I am really close to ordering this? I talked to my local RS and they said they cannot come near this price and doubt it will be anywhere near this until the new model comes out in 2018 not even on black Friday.
Like 999pooch says you do have a lot of rights beyond the normal 1 year warranty anyway and from what I have heard LG are pretty good in this respect anyway.

Ok, just to update. I tried (I really tried!!) to purchase this using the 10% code. So total £1529
however as the amount came over the the automatic £1500 credit limit it wouldn't go through on BNPL. No problem, just pay the £29 to my account as prompted, and the rest would be put on 0% 12m finance.
one huge problem, it emptied the shopping cart and now says I've used my one time only discount code as a new customer!!!
I have rang customer servicr / sales / accounts and my word what a bunch of amateurs. It seems beyond there abilities. To the point I wasn't sure that they had the correct product that i was buying, and they wouldn't give me the 12m BNPL. After about 15 mins I said I would take the 3 easy payment option. They said that would take £29 payment now and divide the remaining balance of £1500 over the following 3 months. So I replied - thats 3 monthly payments of £500? Nope came the answer. Howmuch then? I can't tell you until a few daya after you receive the item. Whhhhhhaaaaaattttttt?????
After a few minutes of talking round in circles I gave up.
Gonna order off Richer Sounds, a VERY wide berth to Very is advised

Jim bob beers,
Your right. You can only get the 10% off if you agree to Take 3 credit but then at that point you can press the pay now in full button and the discount stays on, that's a bonus really do not want a very credit agreement. So close to pressing the buy button and praying that the 1 year warranty is good enough!

So my credit limit looks to be £1000 with Very. The TV after the code is £1,536.98. Am I correct that I would need to add £536.98 + the delivery costs to the account first. And then place the order - using that money + the £1000 credit?
