5 Star store

Had an issue with an earlier purchase spoke to the manager in the Kingston Upon Hull store Paul who gave me excellent advice. Bought the new 2024 LG tv using his knowledge. Top rate staff and store, strongly recommended this store over any other store or supplier.

Purchase of vinyl player and accessories

Helpful from the minute we walked into Middlesbrough store, no pressure to purchase which we liked. Gave us time to go away and look at suggested products. Returned a couple of weeks later. Very happy with our purchase, loving our new vinyl player, amplifier and speakers.

Excellent service. …

The item a Panasonic 4k blue ray player was a replacement for one delivered three days earlier which turned out to be faulty. The return process was faultless facilitated by DPD.
The second player also had an issue but the very helpful staff at the Preston shop suggested changes to the TV and player settings which seem to have resolved the issue. Overall excellent service provided.

Buying new headphones.

I was looking to buy some new headphones and had made a mental shortlist. Based on my selection Richer Sounds staff suggested an alternative I had not considered. They made the effort to get me some demo models from other stores so I could compare models and I actually chose the alternative ones they thought I would like, which they had also got in stock ready for me should I have chosen them. Having got them home they sound terrific on my system. many thanks to Tom, James and Dawn at Lichfield

Superb throughout

What a great Company! Much more personal than many others. The salesman who attended us when we purchased our new tv. Was so helpful (Lichfield branch). In fact we have just received our TV by two very polite guys. It’s so nice to have smiley faces 😃Timing of delivery was spot on. Very impressed Thank you I would have no hesitation in recommending your company to others!

Very knowledgeable staff

James, in store, was very knowledgeable and the whole process was very easy. My only disappointment was that Richer Sounds did not offer a project that included supply and fit, but the installer,Tony, used by Richer was very good, and we happily paid him

10/10 Arron @ York branch.

Excellent customer service by Arron at the York branch. I enquired about some speaker stands and received all the information required and bought at an extremely good price. Arron ensured they were despatched quickly and they the stands arrived quickly and exactly as described.

The impartial and knowledgeable staff…

The impartial and knowledgeable staff at Richer Sounds always make the visit. No pushy sales techniques more a tailored “get it right” approach. Excellent product warranties are an added bonus. Always my first port of call.

Excellent customer experience and value

I have been a customer of Richer Sounds for well over 20 years...
I have always found the staff (Andy on this occasion) very helpful, friendly, and prepared to give good sound advice on their range of products. It is always wise to do a little research on what you're after to help the staff narrow down your options that will benefit you in the long run, my recent purchase was complimented by suggested good alternatives (by Andy) for me to demo in their dedicated room, which ultimately resulted in buying a more suitable solution. I can not recommend them too highly. When you're spending your hard earned cash, the ability to get good advice and try before you buy beats the Internet every time. I have also posted a similar review in Google reviews

Happy Customer

Been shopping with RS since late 80’s/early 90’s in Edinburgh. Always been one, if not the most competitive when it comes to price however service has always been fantastic. Also love the fact they’ll beat a competitors price!

Very helpful staff at the Stockport…

Very helpful staff at the Stockport shop, took their time out properly to cater for my personal budget and in taking the delivery at the shop for me.

Well recommended to anyone whose thinking of buying new Hifi or other goods. I will be definately be going back again.

Fantastic service

This is the second TV I have bought from Richer Sounds in Leicester. I’ve always dealt with Levi who is amazing. Very knowledgeable, always makes sure you get exactly what you are looking for. Fantastic service and Levi is super friendly.

New speakers

I needed a pair of speakers and didn't know which was to buy , the members of staff were brilliant made me feel so relaxed, they demonstrated different brands of speakers in there demo room. I was left to my own devices to test the speakers. What a fantastic experience I had.

Great experience purchasing headphones

I was looking to purchase a pair of headphones (HiFiMAN Sundara), and the staff member offered to let me try a demo pair. They did not push me to purchase at all even after this demo.

They weren’t in stock and so were delivered to the store, and that took from Saturday to Tuesday, but the Monday was a bank holiday and this was faster than what the staff members in the store told me.

A day after purchase, I noticed scan.co.uk had the same headphones for £240 instead of £300, but Richer Sounds offered a price beat which brought the price down to £235 and I received the refund with no hassle and within a couple of days after filling out the online form and giving a staff member at the store my credit card details for the refund.

Overall, the staff were friendly and helpful, and seemed enthusiastic both about audio equipment and ensuring the customer has a good experience and I would definitely consider using them for anything I need which they sell.

Friendly & Expert advice

I’ve been buying all my hifi from Richwr Sounds for 30 years (Julian Rucher used to send personal thank you cards 😁).
I’m now upgrading my home cinema system again and have once again been jet by outstanding customer service & knowledge.
I highly recommend going into a Richer Sounds store if you can discuss you needs rather than randomly pick items on the website.
You’ll get the website price but will have had expert advice.
My new KEF subwoofer is absolutely amazing, almost like being back in the Haçienda !

Great service and delivered the next…

Great service and delivered the next day. I was on the phone for about 15 minutes, my questions were address and order placed with a confirm delivery next day. TV is great and the deal was fantastic, with a free sound bar and a discount for being a VIP member, which cost me nothing. Cannot get cheaper deals anywhere else.

Amazing service

Friendly staff, superb service, ordering over the phone was quick and easy, took minutes and to my surprise the item was delivered the next day even though it was a bank holiday Saturday. Well done amazing service.

Delayed HiFi Order

I ordered online which was a simple experience, I found delivery quite slow though and HiFi I ordered from other suppliers arrived days before my Richer Sounds order. When I messaged to find out why my order had been delayed I was told that a special order had been placed with their suppliers, no mention of the items not being in stock at the time of order. Happy to report that my goods have arrived within a couple of days from my chasing up and I am very pleased with the products. It would have been nice if I had been contacted to pre-empt my delayed order rather than having to chase.

Quick delivery and easy purchase experience

The unit arrived very quickly, quicker than they advertised via a well known courier. Bonus. It was in its original box though which had a very slight ding in one corner but the unit was packaged well in its box so no damage. The price was very good and there was a discount coupon which was a nice surprise. I remember seeing their adverts many years ago in HiFi and Satellite magazines and know they are one of the best companies to buy from in this shopping sector so I was confident to buy rom them. Their prices are were the best I found and the different ways they offer to pay is a really good addition. I will certainly buy from them again
