I'm still on the fence with these but this is tempting - I don't like 'serious' games like the Xbox & PS, prefer fun games but more handheld than screen so I'd use it handheld all the time. Any advice?

Had a go on my friends one, they are great just lack of content. I am very surprised they haven't got a lot of the great indie games around on their platform. It would be ideal.

Indie games are being announced and coming out all the time on it. And let's be fair, it will end the year with the strongest support from first party this year of all the three systems.

I own around 20+ games for my switch already, so saying there is a lack of content is nonsense. Sounds like your friend needs to buy more games! Obviously not every indie game is going to be ported to the switch, but a lot of the great ones are already available and new ones being announced all the time

I'm waiting for sub £200 with bundled games... I reckon when the next gen PlayStation and X box come it will drop... Here's hoping anyway

Not a chance. Nintendo don't see themselves as competing to be your main home console...they'll settle for your secondary. This will only go under £200 with a possible game bundle when they release the next iteration of the switch...give it two years and you're laughing with the savings you'll make.

Funny, I was told the same thing with the Wii U. I wanted the Wii U premium with games for sub £200 and sure enough close to Xmas a few months after release I got it for £195 with code at Tesco direct.

The wiiU was late competition for the 360 and PS3...this ain't trying to compete with Xbox one and PS4. But wait and see.

Nintendo are fantastic at catering for all kinds of gamers. Casual or core gamer.
There are plenty of Indies and multiplayer/party games for Nintendo, on top of all the more varied big titles that they release.
Seriously the Switch is fab for most people. It just depends on the cost, whether you personally see yourself using it.
