Had a set of these for quite sometime and they are very very good,add a Bluetooth receiver and you can't really do better for the money.As for Bluetooth receiver I've always used Belkin does the job well

I use a google chrome audio (uses wifi like sonos) instead of a bluetooth one sound quality is perfect, doesnt cut off when you get a text or phone call
Anyone know if these power down if no input detected for a while? Manual is very basic and no mention. Would like to use these on a tv set up, but needs to power down when TV is off, thanks in advance.

TheThese do automatically power off after a while if no sound/signal is pushed to them. I think it takes 10 minutes, but haven't ever timed it. You can also manually turn these off.
Unless you manually turn these off, they will turn back on by themselves if you started playing something through them, when you turn on the tv for example.
