Now I'm sure there are cheaper mid-week breaks available when the kids are in school, but I think this is brilliant for those wanting a nice pre-Christmas holiday 22-24 December. I'm sure it will be magical at that time of year. If you only wanted a one day pass this would reduce the cost a lot, but I've included a 3 day pass which is the same price as a two day pass
First off, book flights with easyjet.com £205.40 from Southend to Paris Charles de Gaulle. You can go from Luton for a bit extra to give you earlier arrival times and later departure time.
With you being at a Disney hotel you will be close to the action with free shuttle buses and only 10-15 minutes walk away so even though you don't arrive until probably around 6-630pm by time you arrive at the hotel you can head straight into the park.
I've updated the main part of this deal as I've found a proper Disney hotel. The Santa Fe which includes:
+ Accommodation + Disney Parks Entrance Tickets + Access to all attractions and shows + Meetings with the Disney Characters at your hotel and in the Parks + Access to visitors' car park and hotel car parks + Access to the various services of the hotels including free shuttles to the Parks.
Breakfast isn't included but by being in the Disney hotel you get the magic hours, so early entry from 8am before the parks open and reviews indicate you are only 10-15 mins walk to the park, not 20 so it's ideal instead of waiting around for the bus if you want to walk.
The important thing is to book it on the French version of the website as you get a huge discount for some strange reason it is far cheaper than the UK site.
It works out at €693 for the two nights for a family of 4 and includes all tickets too, I translated it with Chrome but for some reason the screen shot now shows it in French as it reverted back mid screen shot.
Converting the Euro to GBP works out at £613.67.
To give you a comparison, the same hotel booking on the UK Disneyland Paris page for the same dates is over £1k.By booking on the French site you are saving a HUGE £400.33p!!!!
Total trip price plus flights and hotel £819.07/£204.76pp

Looks good. I've got to ask though on the Friday you don't arrive until 5pm and that's landing so are you going to get any use out of that day? Or just planning on using it for the whole of Saturday and half of Sunday by the time you have to start leaving for home?

Hmm I don't know, I'm not sure what time Disney is open til? There are flights from Luton which depart in the morning on 22nd and return on 24th later, so this could be another option too.

Disneyland normally closes at 10pm. Landing at 5pm is late. It will be 6pm by the time you get to the hotel.
I've just returned with my 3yo and it's all she talks about

She must have been really miffed if all she talks about was getting to the hotel late. :joy:

It's the next offer when you go on the site. I selected the date for 22/12 and those were the ones that came up. Edit: Hang on I realise what I've done, it's the two day ones. Just checking something give me a second.

Guys, I've updated it, the price has gone up but I've found an amazing deal including tickets and staying in a Disney hotel, the Santa Fe here which I think is great value as you get the park passes and the shuttles and it actually works out better value.
You must book it on the FRENCH site, the price doubles on the English site.

I did think that the days of the French site being cheaper than the UK site were over. I m sure I remember something being said about it on the news sometime in 2016

Good price but will be insanely busy. We've been late November/early December before.and much more enjoyable. End up skipping a day or so school which around that time seems to just be xmas play rehearsal!

If you can go outside of school holidays it will be cheaper and less busy, I agree.
You do get the magic hours with staying at the Disney resort so you can get in earlier each morning which may be less busy.

From October it becomes the ‘magic hour’ 9-10 now. They are also changing the rides that are open and you have access to the studios instead of just the Magic Kingdom.

I can't see the 24/12 yet but on their website this is the opening hours for 22 and 23 December. On the Saturday extra hour and half at the studios. With Sunday being Xmas Eve it may be the same.
