How’s the spec for this? Ok for Netflix and Lego games?

Would have snapped this up if it wasn't for the 800p screen.

The resolution isnt really an issue for smaller screens plus it drains more battery life, i can sit and watch 480p all day on mobile without resolution been a problem, higher resolution is made for bigger screens

true, and netflix is capped at 480p anyway if that's what people intend to use it for
youtube and other web/local files are obviously not limited in the same way

Even so, its not much of a difference on a small screen, i went from 32" SD to HD and went WOW at the resolution, but on a mobile I never really saw a difference

I dunno, it depends what you're doing. One of the main things I want a large tablet for is reading comics and, for things like that, I notice a drop from 1080p to 720p on a phone.

Does anyone own this and previously had a hudl 2? how do they compare apart from the 8.3" vs 10.1" screen. My Hudl 2 died on me few weeks ago so considering this as a replacement.

Mrs Mac has a HUDL 2 and it's faster and full HD compared to this (which I have). It's decent for what it is but it feels a bit more budget than the HUDL 2, probably because the HUDL 2 had advanced spec for its time.

Decent price. 2GB makes it usable.

Bought one off argos ebay for £65 . said refurb , but was new .
I use it for when my little boy is in the hospitals .
Works well, I stick a load of films on a 64gb sd card , there is no lag, plus put loads of games on it for him, the wi-fi is good on it as well . I bought a case which turns into a stand, and he's well happy , battery lasts about 10 hours .
