Personally I'd pay the extra £1 for 5gb data and unlimited minutes and texts on the uswitch deal. Decent deal none the less.
Please note I have the uSwitch deal and it's worth noting that Wi-Fi calling is disabled on Plusnet.

I joined a deal then a few months later told them I wanted a better deal so they did. Basically said would go to a competitor otherwise

questions that always come up.
Can existing customers get this offer - Yes just web chat or call them and they will move you over. Can I port my number from any network - Yes, even EE Which network do they use - EE but speeds may not be as good as EE but they are typically in our area over 20Mb, think we have had 30

I'm on Plusnet and signal reception is a bit hit and miss. It's still better than 3. I wonder if EE customers get a better signal than Plusnet who only piggyback on their network?

we moved from Virgin to PlusNet and my daughter had poor signal at her school on PlusNet when she didn't with Virgin even though they were on the same network. Talked to PlusNet as I thought it could be a sim issue which it turned out it was but they said they cannot guarantee the same signal as EE or any of the other EE networks. Many of these types of services prioritise networks differently.

I imagine you get what you pay for. EE customers pay more and probably get better reception and services. My brother is on Vodafone and he says that is really good for reception.

Plusnet doesn't "piggyback" like Virgin dies. Plusnet IS EE, it's wholely owned sister company just as BT is. The signal nor Internet is any different between EE, BT or Plusnet.
I've been on the £5.95 deal from Plusnet for about a year now. Anyone know if they use rollover for their data allowance please? Can't work out how they allocate it - doesn't seem to make sense to me.
