I voted hot for the price and specs, although the note 4 global is probably better value for the few more quid extra (625 processor). Polite bit of advice though: I ordered the Note 4 on 7th July from AliExpress for £111...good price but yet to receive, and no shipping updates since 12th July. Assuming I'm gonna have to go through a long refund process. Don't forget to pay on Credit Card for extra protection if you do decide to buy. :unamused:

Oh dear, I hope it works out for you.
I'm quite new to chinese phones, as far as I can see the Redmi Note 4 is larger 5.5 inch and the 4x is 5 inch?
Have you tried tracking on the 17track app? Usually gives better tracking information than the aliexpress website or app

Thanks mate. I just ran the number through both the Track17 and Singpost, which previously had similar updated. Now both say 'information not available'. Have contacted the seller and will contact AliExpress once I get a response. Definitely resigned to not getting it now! I will let everyone know how smooth a refund is, so we all know for future purchases.

Hope you get your phone or refund, i ordered the redmi note 4 global for 133 from a deal on here, it took about 2 to 3 weeks, be aware its standard post unless you say otherwise, mine turned up in a strange sort of black airbag wrapping envelope and the postman propped it up on my doorstep and chucked the mat over it

Here's hoping. 2 more weeks to wait then refund. To be fair, it won't put me off trying to order again, as I hear more positives than negatives.

I've ordered 25 times from China (just counted from those that I know), only had 1 order go missing which I was refunded and never hit by Customs. 8 weeks (I'm almost sure) is the longest so give it time. They do track more expensive items but the tracking sucks.
I'm waiting on a Ulefone Power 2 btw, 10 days in so no sweat yet.

Just checked that phone out. Looks class, and whopping battery. Will bear in mind if the Xiaomi doesn't show.

Careful there as technically you may not be covered by the credit card as you're going through a third party (Ali Express). I reckon the credit card would pay out anyway though.
Then again, I can't see Ali Express not paying out if there's no record it's been delivered.

I think my phone must be in the same container as yours. I ordered on the same date and have had no update since 12th July. Pain in the bum ey!

Massive pain! I assume it's a genuine loss, as my understanding is that the supplier doesn't receive the cash from AliExpress, which keeps it in the interim, until the buyer confirms delivery. Strange though, given that later orders were delivered quick sharp! Fingers crossed for us both for this week.

Awesome phone ! Been using for a few months now . Nothing bad to say about it . Nippy wee phone , really great camera , good speakers . I had the UMIDIGI Z pro forma a few months , but I just hate 5.5" screens , prefer the size of this phone . That's just my preference though . Awesome spec and just look at the price now . Seriously , no brainer .

I so need a new phone and have been tempted by these xiaomi ones but the lack of USB c keeps me from pushing the button.
hopefully when the snapdragon 450 is out xiaomi will quickly update as it is pin compatible apparently and roughly the same as a 625 but with USB c.

With no USB can it still be connected to a lap top etc and does it come with a special charging lead ? Will it get the Nougat update ?

I bought a black one from this seller 2 months ago then about £104.00 took about 18 days to arrive standard shipping they declared it as £20 MP3 player no duty problems. Fantastic phone would be grateful if anyone can recommend a good non reflective screen protector. I bought a well fitting glass one with bevelled edges but it's crap for sighting outdoor photos in the sun

Would be a this be the factory installed Global ROM or a reseller installed Global ROM?

if it's marked as supporting band 20 should come sealed with a factory installed global ROM.

Can be up to 40 business days, so equivalent of 2 months. I'm almost there and still not received. Pay with your credit card so you get extra protection in top of AliExpress.

I have ordered from the sellers Goldway and also Eternal Team on Aliexpress . Both dispatched the phones in less than 24 hrs and it arrived in under 2 weeks in both cases. Eternal team charge £2 extra for this phone though. Never choose a seller that hasn't been operating for long or hasn't had many orders for the item you want. I find these aliexpress sellers ship much much quicker than the likes of gearbest, bangggood, geekbuying etc ( these can take a week or more before they even dispatch the item )

Yes the Note 4 and Note 4x have superior specs, but not everyone wants a huge beast of a phone. The Note 4 is bigger than the Galaxy S8, iPhone 7, LG G6. Only the iPhone 7 Plus comes close to the width of the Note 4 which, for most, will make one handed use impossible.
Opening post
Black version is £101.98.
Spec as follows, it has the all important band 20:
