I've been using SumUp for a year or so now, it works very well, far better than the Payleven system which it replaced. My only gripe is the card reader can be difficult to use for people with limited mobility, it's very sensitive.
SumUp have now bought out Payleven and integrated them into their own service. Although my account was transferred from Payleven to SumUp it immediately locked by Payleven terminal when I tried to connect it!
You can also now do 'Customer not present' transactions with SumUp.

Any chargeback protection though?.
Square for me offer the best. It is only 1.75% fees as opposed to 1.95 as above (or 2.75 for others) and money is in bank next day.
And if you use a referral code then you get your first £1000 worth of transactions fee free :-)
