Fantastic deal for a top Ebike. I have one and love it. Cost me £5000 but went up to £5500 early this year. Now £3749.99 then there is £100 off plus more discount with quidco. Excellent dealership as well Rutland Cycles. One of the best looking Ebikes available. Defo puts a smile on your face when you ride one. At this price there is nothing better.

Looks awesome, but so would £3649.00 in my bank account. What kinda of speed and range do these do?

Speed - as fast as your little legs can go
Range - till you get tired

Aren't e-bikes designed to be neither of those things?

It depends on how much assist you use. In eco mode at 10% assist I have done over 30 miles. Speed is maxed at 15mph but you can pedal faster under your own effort. Pedal assist finishes at 15mph. You can make them faster but that is against UK law but I have heard 30mph is acheivable either software update or dongle.

What else did you expect before you entered this thread?
As others have suggested - compared to the price of getting an aftermarket middrive fitted to a lightweight decent spec bike, this seems to be massively worse value and likely providing you a less useful product overall.
And for what it's worth - when riding on 'mountains' going down is the fun bit - electric can get you up the boring bits quicker without getting too close to a full on motorcycle.
(I do have an electric mountain bike and now electric trailer, but never used it for proper off road myself.)

What's the point of it?
Why would you spend this much on a bike if you haven't got the legs to cycle?

True though isn't it?
It has no niche and should rightly attract the scorn of proper risers.
Another needless product driven by the marketing men of mountain bike makers who are pushed into a constant need for new "tech" (see hydraulic brakes, fat bikes, single chainsets).

And the three things you've given as an example are all innovations that have moved cycling on massively.

I can assure you at this price its a bargain. Top spec if you know your bikes. There are plenty at £5k plus at this spec even £7k and more

Agree with you. Its a fantastic bike for the money. I would love one but I could do with selling my yamaha wr250f first as its just not used since I bought it new. I live 2 mins from the woods and moors and these bikes just let you enjoy the outdoors more and more.

Nice bike...but in this day and age perhaps too nice! I'd expect you'd soon gain the attention of scumbag moped gangs if you live anywhere other than Timbuktu.
