So after i missed out on the GTX1060 6gb Medion laptop from Argos a few weeks back i thought i would take a look around for a gtx1070 spec laptop and see what the cheapest was. This seems to be the best i can find atm and seriously considering purchasing

Opinions people?

The specs look good, but I can't comment on the build quality as have never used or owned a medion. Worth a punt if you want a powerful laptop and it's in your budget. Use Argos buy now pay 12 months later as well.

Build quality on these is very good. It has very good cooling too with triple fans. It also has G-Sync which is not mentioned on the Argos site. A very nice machine....

This looks like a great deal for

• Intel core i7-7700hq.
• NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 8GB

• 16GB RAM.
• 1TB and 256GB HDD and SSD storage.

The build quality of these machines really are excellent. Only thing I don't like about these laptops is the sound though you tinker it a lot.

I type this on a Medion as we speak. Terrific laptop, bought 5 years ago for £700 would have cost me £2,000 for the Alienware equivalent.

Doesn't maybe look as sexy and weighs significantly more (8kgs with the charger). But it's the best laptop I've ever had and would buy another in a heartbeat. Their only undoing is I don't have to because it's still a high spec!
