A friend just got this from Argos. Looks a great price when comparing on-line.
Not a fan personally but hopefully someone will benefit.

Very chav (and will take 6 kWH/day to heat).

How do work that one out ?

6 kWH is about the norm for these, in fact this one may well be quite a bit more as it doesn't really have any insulation. You will see that it is a 2 kW appliance, but of course there will be some sort of thermostatic control so it will not use 48 kWH/day (costing about £7) unless it is very cold indeed outside and it is left on. 6 kWH is still quite a lot (cost about £1/day).

Now this is more helpful- thank you. Personally I don't feel £1 a day is too excessive for this though?

Nope not bad at all. We have the Vegas and this I presume will have a rather smaller water capacity so less to keep hot too. I didn't realise it was chavvy, best go down to town and get myself a shell suit too then. Who even uses the word Chav anymore!

If you don't think 28 quid a month is much even when your not using it then fair enough. I on the other hand wouldn't think much of spending over 300 quid a year on electric and chemicals for very limited use.

Do you honestly think that this sort of tub is going to be used that often?? I'm thinking it was designed for occasional use but that's just my opinion.

Absolute bargain. £300 everywhere else. Trying to figure out what is 'chav' about it?

I think not! Great for people who want a hot tub but are either on a budget or short of space hence posting. If too "chav" for you, skip along to the next hot tub deal

That is a bit rude, I gave your comment a 'like'!

I feel your comment isn't helpful and disrespectful to people who would like this spa, hence my response.

Is this small compared to the more popular models (e.g. vegas)?

It's for 2 people.

For the size of this you mays well both get in the bath!
We have a Vegas and to maintain temperature it is around £1 per day with the insulated cover on it. Be prepared though for the initial heat up to take around 12hrs of constant heating. Also don't forget your water treatments (chlorine etc) which after initial fill-up needs to be left at least 12hrs before use.

Bargain! Cheapest I've ever seen this or any hot tub. Although it's a very niche tub I guess; it's smaller, fits absolutely no more than 2 people, and will likely feel more like a bath than an actual hot tub, you can't really move around in it at all. However it appears like it would be more relaxing than a round or square tub as it contours around your body. I'm over 6ft too so this would probably be a one-man tub for me! Plus it looks odd...
