You don't need a gyro for Pokemon Go, you only need a gyro for the AR mode, which no one I know plays with anyway as it just slows things up, makes Pokemon harder to catch and kills battery life.
My wife ran PoGo on her Vodafone Smart Ultra 6 from US launch of the game until about a month ago with no issues and it has no gyro. I still occasionally use that old phone as a spare for it too.
Also doesnt have otg support, probably not a deal breaker for most. Ok phone preferred the smart ultra 6.

How is android m a plus? It’s out of date as soon as you buy it

Could be worse, you could have had something older, like Ice Cream Sandwich which means forget about external storage. or something too new with many bugs. M came oout in 2015, enough time to mature and fix bugs.

Ehh I’m security conscious so I like my monthly security patches from google let alone being 2 major versions behind.

If you're security consious, don't get any Android phone. Major flaws in the Android Market atm.

Pixel is the only option really, OEM’s never keep their software patched.

I have this phone , battery doesn't last me all day but I use it a lot , no Nougat on it yet , I store apps on my SD card so memory is plenty , I use airplane mode to reduce charge time , all in all its a very competant phone feels premium to the touch good camera but one thing to note huawei factory fit screen protectors to thier phones Do Not remove it unless its broken as the screen will feel horrible to the touch if you do

3000 is good. not great ok, and is non-removable, but better than most batteries sold in the uk and at least not as overrated as some chinese phones,

I'm just going off my honor 7 that has a 3100mah battery and I don't even get 3/4 of a day out of it and can't say that I abuse it really. Checking the specs of the two I can't see that much of an improvement to make me want the supposed upgrade to the p9.

Don't be put off by the battery life on this phone. It's one of the best I've had.
It's either the processor or the software that's efficient or a combination of both.
It can easily last a day of heavy use or 2 days or more of moderate use.
I've owned Samsung Galaxy S7 and currently own Oneplus 3T and they both have bigger battery but sadly doesn't come close to it

The battery on my P9 lasts about 2 days, and yes I do use the phone. Have been really impressed with it.
