There are also some excellent custom firmwares for both standard Android and Android TV that takes the funtionality way past what the manufacturers supply.
Kodi is hard to work. So many plug in's or add on you have to do. Youtube how to cast cartoon hd or moviehd to chromecast and this will sort your tv and film needs

I can’t deny I thought Kodi was a pain in the a** to begin with, but For the vast majority of users there’s only a few addons that are required! Try Covenant :

it really, really isn't.
if people insist on having two dozen plugins that will all likely point you to the same content anyway, then it's bound to be a bit of a faff.

Install covenant, use Real-Debrid. That's it. 1080p on everything.

There's a 'greatest ever Kodi build' install vid on Youtube, all you do is add one install file and it does everything for you, multiple changing skins, all the different providers etc etc.
But at the end of the day the majority of stuff I watch comes from Exodus.

Because it's a tenner cheaper?
I've heard some say the S905 box is better than the S912...

The Terrarium TV app has replace kodi in our house so much more stable and just works! No messing around with sources.

Hope you box is not holding any personal details. You should look into what Terrarium wants access/permission to when it installs.

Yup, after the recent tvaddons collapse, I've gone round the house doing fresh installs of plain Kodi and added only the addons I need.
Easy and so easy to use.

I've got libreelec installed on my box so even easier still. Using the "Bello" skin as well which makes it all look rather fancy.
