I have been looking at replacing my ageing Voodoo MTB and have come across this one. Seems to have all I want for a reasonable price. Can't find it any cheaper. Anyone has experiences with GT? Rutland is pretty good and have purchased from there before.
Agree it's very good and we'll spec for the money.

The GT is prettier but the Calibre two.two v2 @ 399 from go outdoors is worth a look. Very highly regarded at the price point (much like Voodoo themselves!)

I've had a GT Avalanche for a few years now. I have the 2011 Avalanche 2.0 version which is now the Elite version. It's been pretty solid tbh. No problems with it at all. I do get it serviced every year which helps and clean it regularly. Excellent spec too.

I would get the Gt the air forks on the voodoo will need a fork pump which when i last got one was £50. That triple triangle frame is bomb proof too.

£15-20 quid tops for a pump to inflate the forks.

The pump for my Epicon's was about £15 from fleabay? :-/
Air forks make a huge difference though and a better upgrade than drivetrain components!

I got this Scott aspect 930 for 399 from tweeks. It was priced higher in the website, but called them up and they did it for 399.tweekscycles.com/bik…017
