I bought one of these for my mum several years ago. She never once used it, still boxed

If you want a decent breadmaker it has to be a Panasonic - widely recognised as the best by a big margin. More expensive but they're not exactly giving this MR away.

I haven't tried a Panasonic, but I used on of these for a few months and replaced it with a Lidl Silvercrest twin paddle bread maker.
The Lidl bread maker makes great bread, but I was rather disappointed with the loaves made in the fastbake, The Fastbake is also a bigger machine than the Lidl one, yet the lidl one is able to make a larger loaf. The replacement tubs are really cheap too.
Lidl usually sell them in either August or September, this was last years offer:- hotukdeals.com/dea…831
