Do you have to sell to them to get £100

You send your old phone to Samsung who then send you the money via Bank transfer.

how long does that take and is there a difference in obtainable price from the phone and price listed in the eligible phone list? i.e. O2 LIKE NEW - perfect (no blemishes but opened product) = £325 / like new (has a few blemishes but no scratches to the screen) = £225 / ok (possible dents to chassis pr light scratches on screen) = £100 e.g....? I ask because the back glass on my s7 edge is cracked and I'd like to know if i'd still be eligible for the full £325 and additional £100...
any advice?

Complete the questionnaire and it will tell you the exact price (not including £100) for your phone - samsungrecycle.co.uk/sel…35f

I don't think JL price match them. They have to have a physical shop.

If anyone has altered their firmware and doesn't know how to go back to stock then they're screwed.
Also, any samsung device after the Galaxy S 5 has a hardware fuse that trips when the device has been amended, usually through obtaining root privileges, and that cannot be reset.

Hmm... They're offering close to what I'd get from selling the s7 edge on eBay but without the fees and dealing with a buyer. Said I wouldn't bother upgrading but this tempting.

You are better off buying from Amazon and sell your old phone outside. Cold

Only of value if your handset to be traded is on its last legs. I reckon with most good condition handsets you can get more for your money.
