This CPU Cooler is Intel Skylake ready and is recommended for use with unlocked "K" type Skylake processors.
Dual SP120L PWM fans with Corsair Link monitoring and control for extreme liquid CPU cooling performance
The Hydro Series H100i GTX is an extreme performance, all-in-one liquid CPU cooler for cases with 240mm radiator mounts. The 240mm radiator and dual SP120L PWM fans provide the excellent heat dissipation you need for highly overclocked CPUs. Corsair Link is built in, so you can monitor temperatures, adjust cooling performance and customize LED lighting directly from your desktop.
240mm radiator The double-wide radiator offers approximately twice the cooling area of our Hydro Series coolers which use a 120mm or 140mm radiator. It fits virtually any case that has dual 120mm fan mounts spaced for a 240mm radiator.
Advanced SP120L PWM fans Our custom-designed SP120L fans are different than standard case fans – they’re custom-designed to deliver high static pressure for mounting directly against radiators, and the fan blades are specially shaped for maximum air delivery with minimum noise. Since they’re PWM controlled, you can customize the fan speed to choose the optimal point on the performance/noise curve.
Built-in Corsair Link for monitoring, customization, and control Attach the included Corsair Link cable to a USB header on your motherboard and download the free Corsair Link software to unlock even more power. You can customize cooling performance, monitor coolant and CPU temperatures, and change the color of the RGB LED lighting from the default white to match your system, or to change color based on temperature readings and other inputs.
High-performance CPU cooling made simple Gone are the days when watercooling required lots of work. The H100i GTX is a closed loop design that comes pre-filled, and it comes with a modular, tool-free mounting bracket for faster installation.

Cracking Price. Enough cash left over to change the fans as well. Well worth the purchase for anyone about to build / replace.
If that's the case this is the one I use and it's great, must have for any Overclocked CPU (especially Skylake and Kayblake). Keeps the CPU very cool, though depends on your ambient temps.

Tempting to replace my H55 but looks like getting it into my bit fenix prodigy would be a pain

This is v1, so is it still a good deal?

H100i v1, H100i v2 & H100i GTX are three different coolers

Ah fair enough, yeah I wouldn't bother with the v1 these days. Also worth noting you may wish to get better fans like the Nocrutna fans as default ones suck and are loud at times.

I had the H100i GTX, But I had to send it back as one of the pipes poped out while I installed it into my motherboard (Was loose) so sent it back for a full refund! I think these have a long guarantee and I was just unlucky.........maybe!

I'd say so, yeah. Don't think I've ever seen any H100i lower than £95.

Oh to use my Wraith Spire and limit my overclocking but look better. Wait for my Noctua D15 AM4 upgrade kit to arrive or finally go water cooling.
No fit problems in the Fractal R5. God I hate the 1st world choice problems this site poses for me.

I got an email saying this Sale price ends on 31/08, doesn't say anything on the site though. Just thought I'd warn people.

I have the h80 and a skylake 6700k @ 4.6 barely raises the temps. I would say this is over doing it unless it's for a VGA card mod.

That's because you're not pushing your overclock that much. I can hit 4.8 on air with my 4790K.

I didn't overclock any further as it wasn't really required in my particular use case. It's just a gaming rig. No special workstation load.

You can't compare overclocking ability between generations like that really. Skylake is very different beast to Haswell.
