Aq5 37-12 went hot at £70+ so this model should get hot too as they are basically the same power according to amazon

Is this an ancient model? Can't see it on the Bosch website. Also is this a water or air cooled motor(pump)?

Why? From what I can tell, this is more powerful and more of a compact design which I prefer.

Flow rate on the Bosch is **** poor. It's the usual marketing trick, use a smaller nozzle to increase pressure at expensive of flow.

The Bosch delivers 350 l/h and the Nilfisk (if I'm looking at the right version) gives 440 l/h

Not in my experience. Nilfisk components made in china are cheap and not fit for purpose, customer servivces are not good either. I will never buy another Nilfisk product again, having been a Nilfisk user for over 40 years. Rubbish !
