Down from a whooping £249.99. These headphones have quite good reviews, and if the battery runs out, you can skip the bluetooth connection and plug them directly to your device.

Wow.
Last night I was still trying to get a delivery date from Amazon for the Sony headphones deal 2 months ago. I've now ordered these and will wait another month. But well worth it at this price :-)
There's a 10% off code as well - AKG10-MEMBER Brings them down to just over £60 :sunglasses:

Anyone know how these would compare to the sony MDR-1000x? Feel like the sonys would be better, but I'm very tempted to order these

Haven't heard the AKG but reviews are generally good. I seriously can't see them being a bad buy at £66 vs £250 - £300 for the Sony. The Sony's sound great but I felt the build was (relatively) poor for the price with a fair bit of creaking and lots of plastic. The AKG's are somewhat tank-like in comparison.
Just to muddy the waters even more, I've had a set of Sony MDR-1ABT since March 2016. They've been used daily and are still tip-top, despite their mainly plastic construction. Although I am incredibly careful with headphones. I wouldn't have paid the (then) typical price of £299 for them. I paid about £130 and felt they were great for the price.
In short, if I could justify these I'd snap them up.

Good spot OP. If these are too big, i notice they are also selling 'recertified' AKG N60NC noise cancelling on ear headphones for £123.99 (currently £199 at amazon). Look cool and get good reviews. I'm tempted.....
