Primera Air have just added a new route to their airline!
They are direct flights to New York - Newark (EWR) from Birmingham International (BHX) or Stansted Airport (STN)
Prices start from £226 per person. Here is an example of a return trip from London for dates 27 May to 31 May 2018 (5 nights) in the May half term!
Many more dates available! (excited)
Please note that this only includes 10kg hand luggage.
There is also a £9 fee when paying for the flights by card but not if you make a bank transfer. (flirt)
These are bound to sell fast so get booking! (party)
Hope this helps many! See you in New York! (y)

You don't need to prebook seats, buy 2 boots meal deals each way, use carry on if it's only for a few days - £160 saved

Checking hotel prices now-brilliant find! Did NY in this time frame in 2015 on a deal from her and had a brilliant time! Worth checking Travelzoo nearer the time and book something refundable now. We got the Holiday Inn Madison square gardens for 791.00 for 3 people for 6 nights which included breakfast from Travelzoo at that time

Hotel prices much higher now partly due to exchange. Very few under £200 a night that are decent.

Hi, I'm finding the staybridge for just over 1K which is surprising, but yeah generally the exchange rate is leaving a lot to be desired as you say ;(
Bags and seat selection each cost a staggering $45 per flight, and a hot meal starts at $40 all the way up to $70. WHAT?!
Those prices are simply outrageous for a leisure airline, and put their prices well-above most of the legacy carriers operating between these markets.
Each passenger will get one free carry-on weighing up to 10kg, with dimensions not exceeding 54cmx45cmx25cm.
It doesn’t sound like they’ll have seatback entertainment screens, which puts them in the league of WOW Air, but below Norwegian and LEVEL. They will, however, have wifi for a fee.

Apologies - just remembered seeing the Express and Star bemoaning the lack of flights to the US now from BHX. No mention of a replacement. United flights were pretty rubbish in my experience.

Is there a better way to search this than just putting in random dates?

yes once you put in a date you can use the arrows on the left/right to see prices for like 5 days either side. Thats about as good as it gets for this kinda site.
