4k UHD Blu-ray discs are much better picture quality then streamed 4K.

Good deal!.
Base haven't got the best reputation but they are ok'ish, and considering this is £29.99 at Amazon this is great value. There is Blu-Ray discs in there as well for those who haven't yet got a 4k player and TV (Myself included).
You are future proofed.
Apparently though the desert episode is not 4K because the desert was too hot for the filming with the specialised 4K cameras.
You wouldn't know it though, the cinematography is outstanding.
