I realise this is an odd question, but has anyone used these on pets? I'm curious if they would work with small dogs?

Because animal hair is thicker than human the clippers need a stronger motor, so I'd say that, though you could in theory do this, you will burn out the clippers quickly.

Tried it on my Border Collie and didn't work. Blades need to be bigger and wider

I've been using mine for a couple of years. I have more expensive wired clippers, but these are easier and more convenient to use.

I use mine regularly. An excellent product. I was surprised to see the inclusion of oil in the package since I have never used it for my set and I am pretty sure the blurb said it was not needed. I am never sure they cut the hairs on my neck as close as the rest of my head, but that is technique I suppose.

Had the previous model which lasted 6 years (used weekly) before battery died (did not hold charge long for last year). Great clippers though and don't mind replacing at this price although mirror no longer included.

Agree with everyone saying positive reviews.
Though not so good points from the ones i had (They were only used every week or less)
The first one i had stopped charging and i thought it was broke
Bought a second months after which stopped turning on or charging, so tried charger on old one and the old one still works.
However the rotation mechanism is broken and you have to hold it in place which is annoying but it does the job.
So build quality not amazing, but oldest still working to this day so i'm good with that especially for price.
Also like that its waterproof makes cleaning easy.

Brilliant bit of kit, use mine weekly. Seems to hold a charge very well. The swivel head is a must for doing the back of your hair

After just over a year, all of a sudden it is not holding charge well at all - used to get 4 head shaves per charge, now it is 2 at a push and cutting speed seems quite slow on even a full charge compared to previously.
