I realise this is an odd question, but has anyone used these on pets? I'm curious if they would work with small dogs?

Because animal hair is thicker than human the clippers need a stronger motor, so I'd say that, though you could in theory do this, you will burn out the clippers quickly.

Tried it on my Border Collie and didn't work. Blades need to be bigger and wider

I've been using mine for a couple of years. I have more expensive wired clippers, but these are easier and more convenient to use.

I use mine regularly. An excellent product. I was surprised to see the inclusion of oil in the package since I have never used it for my set and I am pretty sure the blurb said it was not needed. I am never sure they cut the hairs on my neck as close as the rest of my head, but that is technique I suppose.

Had the previous model which lasted 6 years (used weekly) before battery died (did not hold charge long for last year). Great clippers though and don't mind replacing at this price although mirror no longer included.

Agree with everyone saying positive reviews.
Though not so good points from the ones i had (They were only used every week or less)
The first one i had stopped charging and i thought it was broke
Bought a second months after which stopped turning on or charging, so tried charger on old one and the old one still works.
However the rotation mechanism is broken and you have to hold it in place which is annoying but it does the job.
So build quality not amazing, but oldest still working to this day so i'm good with that especially for price.
Also like that its waterproof makes cleaning easy.

Brilliant bit of kit, use mine weekly. Seems to hold a charge very well. The swivel head is a must for doing the back of your hair

After just over a year, all of a sudden it is not holding charge well at all - used to get 4 head shaves per charge, now it is 2 at a push and cutting speed seems quite slow on even a full charge compared to previously.

Use mine 2-3 times per week. They do a really close cut without the blade.
I normally get 5-6 cuts from each charge.
Tried the rotating head first couple of times and never used it again, just a gimmick in my opinion.
Had mine 3 years, still going strong, never oiled them once.

baldy signing in, use once a week, great little thing, lasts ages

How close does it go. I never find a set gets close enough except for an old babyliss set I have. They are so old now though the charge doesn't even hold ten minutes.
Never found a set that gets as close though.

Is this like a sideburns trimmer?

I guess you could use it like that, but you'd probably want something smaller really.

Bought the old model in 2008 for £59.99 and it's still going strong after multiple use weekly. If this new model is anything like it then it is well worth it imo

Had my first one of these about 18 months before the plastic attachment broke (I only ever used the smaller attachment, at least once a week). Bought a second set purely for the attachment recently. Nothing better on the market if you cut your own hair short like myself.

Highly recommend these, I've had a slightly old version of this for about 2 years now and every few weeks it shaves my head perfectly..... pays for itself in no time.

Attachments with length settings break easily.
Can't remember how many times I've had to glue the blasted things back together, real blinkin nuisance.
The hair clipper is ok, but the attachments breaking so easily is blinkin annoying.
When they work they're okay to good, not very good and certainly not brilliant, but okay to good.

I had the old model of these for about 3 years used 2-3 times a week, they're really good clippers but the battery had started to deteriorate. Saw the new model for about £15 last year and they're still going strong after being used 2-3 times a week.

I can take a photo with an LG G4, but the only way I know to post it would be via imgur - I'm just not that up on techie stuff. Bit of a struggle but can be done.
Why do you need it, anyhow?
