Buyer beware, DK1 "support" ended ages ago. They're a pain to get up and running in Windows 10 and not much modern VR will work
That's on top of the resolution issues. You know how people complain the resolution of PSVR and Rift isn't up to scratch? They're over 2x the resolution of DK1

I appreciate that this may not be ideal for gaming. But for the 3D painting and stuff would it be sufficient?

The DK2 seems a little better in that respect, but they're around £100 these days, not instant-buy territory.

Not for me as i can use my phone as VR and its Ultra HD even for games.
Would prefer to wait till new tech, get polished experience and use UHD for now as couldn't do with the low resolution.
Definitely can see why people are interested though as some phone VR headsets are this price alone. Also for those who are on a strict budget.
