This is 80dpi so similar to a 27" 1920x1080.
It's not for everyone but there are plenty of people for whom it does work. My next monitor will be one of these are the 96dpi of my [email protected]" screen is just too high for my setup.
If it doesn't suit you that's fine, but let's not treat a situation dependant characteristic as a negative.
This is a good deal, I've been watching this one and it's normally well over four hundred quid. The only other similar monitor (Freesync LFC, 80dpi, Ultrawide) is £550-600, the AOC Agon 35"

These things are going to drop in price like a stone over the next little while. That 1080 vertical resolution is horrible in a monitor this wide, returned my one after a few days (different monitor same resolution).

I'm keen for a 144hz ultra wide but not with this resolution.

I have the same resolution on a 29" screen. Works well for me, but I imagine it wouldn't on anything larger.

I couldn't possibly imagine playing 21:9 on a 34" with a 1080p v.resolution. I imagine the image looks stretched as hell.
