Guys I just came to John Lewis in Oxford Street London and this laptop is £599 . At least here they have 7 units. I think is a good price for the specs. It's also available by internet.
Nonsense a 1050ti is faster than a PS4 Pro. A 1050 is only slightly behind.
In short you will have no problem running the latest games at medium or even high settings at 1080p.
You only really need the extra horsepower if you're running at 1440p and above.
Maybe you should update your driver's mate, something seriously wrong if your having issues.

lmao, the irony of you saying research, research, research and you can't even read that it isn't a u processor.

I think you will find that HQ processors are Quad Core, it even says Quad Core on the John Lewis website! The i5 7300HQ is only 3% slower than an i7 7700HQ, so there is nothing wrong with the i5 processor.

Looks great for the price. Shame it's not just £25-£50 more but with a 1050ti

i5 7th generation and NVIDA1050, Full HD, reviews seem decent online... for the price is good, bear in mind you can replace with an SSD and up the RAM later on.

Is this good for 4k video editing?

I'd prefer something with a 4k screen and an SSD, but yeah, unless you work for Pixar it'll probably do the job.
Bear in mind it's a dual core and most of the encoding is still handled by the CPU, so I'd probably look for something with a quad core i7 and no dedicated gpu. Depends how many seconds you wish to save waiting for it to finish encoding etc

I would call the card average at best. However the price is good.
