Well pleased with mine purchased for £529 from Peter Tyson 3 months ago.
Much better. Feature wise they're very similar (apart from auddyssey version. It's worth it for that alone.
I've heard both and.l there's definitely a fidelity improvement. The 2300 sounded a bit lifeless to me. Certainly didn't make good speakers sound how they should.
This is 5.2.1 but the 3300 sounds noticeably better to me.

A lot better according to whathifi. This is the model I'm after but I'm hoping to get it for closer to 400 as I'm not in any rush, if it becomes unavailable tho I'm stuffed lol.

That's what I would expect, if a mid range amp wasn't much better than the entry level alternative denon wouldn't be doing a very good job of things and their reputation is obviously very important to them.

Indeed. They could have just improved features. Not sound quality. Like XT32 for example. I know that in turn improves sound, my tests were done Pure Direct. The 2300 is very good for it's current price too. "Lifeless" might have been a bit harsh.
